Our Company
Fennell Building Group was founded with a specific focus on multi-family renovation projects. Multi-family work requires the same attention to detail as other types of residential construction, with the additional challenge of developing and operating efficient processes for large scale work. For us, this is what makes the work rewarding and what enables us to excel. We are truly passionate about fine tuning our approach and our crews to deliver the most efficient and highest quality work.
We maintain a large crew of skilled craftsman, with multiple teams focused on framing, waterproofing, window and door installation, siding and flashing details, and more. The makeup of our workforce is focused on the quality and production required from multi-family projects, with the majority of our crews having a long background specifically in multi-family work.
While all of our work has focused on multi-family renovation, our expertise spans a variety of building types and construction materials. Previous projects include both wood and cold-formed steel framing, along with concrete and structural steel repairs. We have extensive experience with a variety of weather resistive barriers, including Prosoco, Sto, and Henry products. Most of our projects involve some form of deck waterproofing, and we have successfully installed many systems, include a variety of Sika, Neogard, and Polyguard systems. Cladding expertise includes Hardie, cedar shingle, stucco, and brick exteriors.
From a personal perspective, the team at Fennell Building Group truly enjoys the number of owners and residents we get to work and interact with, and that is a unique aspect of working on projects with dozens and hundreds of individual owners. It is a common refrain, and great source of pride for us, to hear from homeowners on how friendly, enthusiastic, and hard working our crews are.
Our Team
PATRICK FENNELL
Patrick Fennell is the founder and owner of Fennell Building Group. He has over 20 years of experience in construction, with the last 10 years being entirely focused on multi-family renovation and repair/re-clad work in the Charleston area. He brings a unique passion for the meticulous planning and enduring efforts required for this type of work, and one that sets the tone for all aspects of our projects. Patrick lives on Wadmalaw Island with his wife and two children. When he is not at work, you might find him keeping his yard beautiful, smoking a brisket, or racing go karts with his son.
Brien FENNELL
Brien Fennell has a background in supply chain management, compliance, and construction. The same skills he used to manage compliance for national and international supply chains, are put to use on the jobsite implementing work flows and review processes that ensure efficient and high quality construction. Brien lives on James Island with his wife and two children. When he is not at work, he enjoys fishing, tending to his camellia filled yard, and convincing his wife and kids to learn the rules of yet another board game.
LEANDRO DA SILVA
Leandro Da Silva has 15 years of experience in siding, framing, waterproofing, and window and door installation. He is responsible for the oversight of the crews on the job, and instrumental in training and developing the core skills and rapid pace of our crews. Leandro lives in Goose Creek with his wife and son. On the weekends, he tries to relax as much as possible, and likes to spend time with his son, and play with his dog Grace.
